The cover and inlet are made for us by GDW Nord eG, a cooperative of workshops for people with disabilities in northern Germany. For the filling, we send each bolster to a family-run business in Baden-Württemberg specialising in natural fibre processing, which fills it evenly with kapok using a purpose-built machine.
